How much does it cost to rent a storage unit?
The price depends on the size of the unit you wish to rent. Take a look at our Sizes and Rates to see which unit best suits your needs.
Why should I make a reservation online or over the phone?
When making a reservation over the phone with a major credit card the size you reserve will be waiting for you with a lockable tag provided by our staff. You will still need to physically come to our office and provide proper I.D. and sign the rental agreement in order to store items in your storage space. We are aware that a shortage of storage spaces in the local community exists due to high demand, reserving the space guarantees you a space.
Reservations beyond Seven (7) days are acceptable for storage units for 10x10, 10x20, and 10x25 only.

Do i need insurance?
Camp Pendleton Self Storage will provide you with informational pamphlets to help you determine if you need insurance. If you own your home, in some instances your home owners insurance may cover your rental unit; please check with your insurance provider. We recommend purchasing insurance for any unforeseen circumstances.
How can I pay?
Allotment, all major credits cards, cashier check or personal check (verification of funds required).

Yes we have a full line of supplies to make your moving and storing experience a little easier.

What is the minimum time period I can rent a storage unit?

Can you move my stuff?
Our staff is not allowed to touch or remove any customer's belongings under any circumstances.
How long before I can get access to a storage unit?
Within minutes of signing the rental agreement you will be asked to select a PIN number of a maximum of four to ten numbers. With your lock in hand we will direct you to YOUR space.

Can i store my personal owned vehicle?
Yes, we recommend renting a unit 10X17 or larger depending on the length of your POV. Motorcycles may be stored in either a 10x5 or 5x10 stand-alone storage unit or with your household goods in other larger size units.
Are the storage units climate controlled?
Our storage units are not climate controlled as Southern California coastal regions enjoy mild climate year round. Climate control is an industry feature used around the country where prolonged humidity is higher than 85% and Cold temperature below 55 degrees. Severe hot or cold weather can damage items stored in units.
What is the difference between an outdoor and indoor unit?
An outdoor unit is a drive-up unit (OD) all our outdoor storage units are ground level which gives you the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck. An inside unit is within the property and will require you to go inside a door to access your unit which is at ground level.
Can i store my firearms in my storage unit?
No, Base regulations prohibit storing personal firearms inside the facility.
